Azadi has also explored ways to combine modern approaches to sound with acoustic and folk music. To date, he has been an invited artist to Berlin CTM Festival, Barcelona Mixture , Unsound and Urvakan Festival. His works have been performed in France, Italy, Germany, and Greece in addition to his native and temporary homelands of Iran and Armenia.

Emad Majidi was born in 1990 in Tehran, Iran. He began studying music at 11 y.o. with cello, and entered Tehran College of Music. After graduating Emad moved to Yerevan to continue his cello studies at the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas. Emad performed with Melal Orchestra in Iran and in string quartets in Yerevan playing works by young Iranian composers. In his improvisation he tends to use elements of Iranian folk music in a flexible play with modern and contemporary techniques while keeping the classical base to the tune.
